Roar 4 Change and Punjabi Cultural & Welfare Association (PCWA) have joined hands to make a substantial impact on education in the flood-affected Patiala region. With a shared commitment to community upliftment, the two organizations have adopted two schools in the area, Tagore International Senior Secondary School and Malwa Public School Ghagga, aiming to provide support to the most needy students in the region.
Aim of the Adoption: The recent floods in the Patiala region have brought about challenging circumstances for families, particularly those with limited resources. Recognizing the urgency to support education and alleviate financial burdens on families, Roar 4 Change and PCWA have undertaken the noble initiative to adopt these two schools.
School Details:
- Tagore International Senior Secondary School: With a student population of 1200, Tagore International Senior Secondary School holds a significant presence in the region’s educational landscape.

- Malwa Public School Ghagga: With 367 students, Malwa Public School is a cornerstone of education in the area.

Supporting the Most Needy: The core objective of this adoption initiative is to provide support to the most needy students within these schools. Roar 4 Change and PCWA are collaborating closely with school authorities to identify students from families severely impacted by the recent floods. The adopted approach involves covering their school fees for a duration of one year, offering a respite to the families during this challenging period.
“As we stand together in the face of adversity, our commitment to education becomes a beacon of hope. By adopting these schools, we not only provide financial relief to families affected by floods but also illuminate the path towards a brighter future for our children.” – Mr. Kamal Sharma, President of Punjabi Cultural & Welfare Association (PCWA)
An Ongoing Commitment: Roar 4 Change and PCWA are committed to driving sustainable change within the Patiala region. The adoption of these schools represents a pivotal step in their joint mission to uplift the community through education. The organizations understand the significance of education in empowering individuals and building a brighter future.
Uniting for a Cause: The partnership between Roar 4 Change and PCWA exemplifies the power of collective action for the greater good. By extending their support to education, the organizations are not only easing the burden on families but also sending a strong message of solidarity to the flood-affected region.
Making a Difference: In the aftermath of the floods, Roar 4 Change and PCWA have chosen to stand as beacons of hope, lighting the path to a better future through education. The adoption of these schools showcases their dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of those who need it the most.
