In response to this crisis, Roar 4 Change, a non-profit organization, is launching the Roar 4 Panjab program to provide essential support and assistance to the affected communities. Mr. Baljit Singh, Chairman of Roar 4 Change, said “We are looking forward for the support from the community. We are a 100% volunteer organization with zero overheads. All the 100% donations received will be spent on the people who need the most. We have called this Roar 4 Panjab which will included these most affected states and were part of the original undivided Panjab. We should look beyond boundaries and support the families most needed.”
Relief efforts are currently underway on a war footing, with the government, NGOs, and local community members working together to provide immediate aid and assistance to those impacted by the floods. However, the journey of recovery and rebuilding is long, and it requires sustained support from individuals and organizations alike.
Roar 4 Change’s Roar 4 Panjab program aims to focus on the mid-range recovery period following the disaster. The program outline is as follows:
Roar 4 Panjab Program Outline:
- The program will prioritize the most affected villages in the three states of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
- We will identify and adopt 10 villages from these three states
- The primary areas of support will include agricultural redeployment, education, and mental wellness for the affected communities.
To ensure the success of the Roar 4 Panjab program, Roar 4 Change is seeking support from individuals and organizations who are willing to contribute to the cause. There are two key ways you can make a difference.
How you can Support:
