Over 30 School Principals & Vice Chancellors from Punjab come together in Navi Mumbai for the Better Teaching & Learning Conference 2020

30+ School Principals from various part of Punjab are to come together in Navi Mumbai for the Better Teaching & Learning Conference 2020. 

Roar 4 Change, Punjabi Cultural & Welfare Association (PCWA), and Jagat Punjabi Sabha are coming forward to support improve the leadership in schools and universities of Punjab. A Better Teaching and Learning Conference 2020 is being organized in Navi Mumbai on Feb 21st and Feb 22nd, 2020.

The conference has been organized to bring forward innovative ideas for the education system. The conference will bring forward innovative ideas and key practices that will shape the education system. The focus for the conference is:

  • Shaping a vision of academic success for all students
  • Creating a climate hospitable to education
  • How to keep the future generations away from drugs and depression
  • Innovative technology and processes to foster academic improvement

Mr. Baljit Singh, Roar 4 Change, Chief Organizer said, “We look forward to bring the best of industry, education and the international speakers for the conference. For the conference, we will have Omer Tulchinsky, Co-Founder and Pedagogical Director, HaGal Sheli. He is coming all the way from Israel as a keynote speaker for the conference. HalGal Sheli has more than 2,500 students in 5 centers across Israel. The students are mainly fighting mental health issues or trying to come of out drug addictions. HalGal Sheli with their innovative practices has over 95% success rate with their students. We will be glad to learn the innovative practices implemented at their centers in Israel.”

Mr. Ajaib Singh Chatha, President, Jagat Punjabi Sabha added, “Together with Roar 4 Change, we look forward hosting the Better Teaching & Learning Conference 2020. We hope to bring together innovative ideas that could be implemented across different schools and universities in Punjab. This is first of a kind conference, the attendees will benefit a great deal from the conference. We are taking more than 30 participants from Punjab to Mumbai for the conference.”

Mr. Kamal Sharma, President, Punjabi Cultural Welfare Association added, “We look to host the attendees in Navi Mumbai. Being a local non-profit organization in Navi Mumbai, we always look to support such causes that will bring change.”

Mr. Baljit Singh, further added, “Roar 4 Change is planning to honor its Roar 4 Hunger sponsor’s on Saturday, Feb 22nd, 2020. Roar 4 Hunger is a program of Roar 4 Change to serve food to cancer patients and their relatives. Every Sunday morning, Roar 4 Change team serves food for cancer patients and their relatives in Kharghar. On Saturday, Feb 22nd, 2020 we are looking forward to honor and recognize our sponsors who have been supporting and donating for our humble effort.”
